Double exposure is a technique or process that combines two or more images by layering one on top of the another.

I made this illustration in Adobe Illustrator. I used pen tool to draw the outlines whereas for the flowers I used pucker and bloat effect. They have different skin colors and their dresses have gradient effects.

I used Illustrator to create the bees and their paths. I mostly used pen tool to create these bumble bees and strokes to create the interesting paths. The dash stroke effect in illustrator was used for the paths.

A fun fact for my website visitors : A hive of bees will fly over 55,000 miles to make 1lb of honey and can create 100lbs of honey in a year. Doesn't that sound amazing and fascinating ?

Kathakali is a very ancient and unique dance form of India. The costume is very colorful and the face is smeared with different colors also.  I tried imitate the face of one of the dancers on paper with acrylic paint.
